Academic Poster Sizes Explained
Choosing the right poster size is crucial for your presentation. A0 posters (841 à 1189 mm) are the standard choice for academic conferences and research exhibitions, offering plenty of space for detailed methodology, results, and conclusions. A1 posters (594 à 841 mm) work well for smaller poster boards and departmental presentations, while A2 and A3 sizes are perfect for coursework displays and group projects.

UK conferences typically require A0 (841 Ă 1189 mm) or A1 (594 Ă 841 mm). Most UK conferences ask for portrait orientation. European conferences may request 100 Ă 70 cm. Always verify your specific conference requirements in the conference handbook or presentation guidelines before ordering. If your conference uses non-standard sizes, we can accommodate custom dimensions.
Our team performs a quality check on every file before printing. We verify: resolution is sufficient (300 DPI minimum), dimensions match your order, colour profile is correct (RGB for screen, CMYK for print â we convert automatically), fonts are embedded, and images arenât pixelated. If we identify any issues, weâll contact you via email or phone before proceeding with printing.
